Aveleda Alvarinho Vinho Verde

This excellent white wine from northern Portugal regularly wins awards from professional critics and wine magazines for its rich mix of tropical fruit, minerality and floral aromas. Grapefruit, orange blossom and zest and white peaches and flowers unite in a fresh and dry but fruity and floral wine for a price that's more than reasonable. It goes well with fish dishes and asparagus.
