This wine was love at first sip. When I first discovered it at a wine fair I immediately bought six cases, and I have regularly bought it since. Think of a young port, rich but dry, smoky but acidic, fruity but fresh. Made from of the best grapes that Portugal has to offer - Touriga Francesca and Touriga Nacional -- it is a complex, elegant, smooth dry red wine with notes of red fruit, licorice and sweet smoke.
