Estate Papaioannou Chardonnay Fumé

An award-winning organic wine from Papaioannou Estate in Ancient Nemea in the Peloponnesus. Aged for just four months in oak barrels, this wine won me over the first time I tried it with its  subtle smoky, peach and pear aromas combined with Chardonnay's typical citrus peel aroma. A real crowd-pleaser that goes very well with fish dishes as well as white pizzas and pastas.
