I discovered this wine at a Cretan wine tasting and was delighted to discover a Mavrotragano wine that both tasted great and didn't cost a fortune. Produced organically near Chania, it is aged for 10 months in mostly used oak barrels. The wine has smooth tannins to accompany complex aromas of blackberries, leather, vanilla and oak. Try it! 

This Red wine is made by Pateromichelakis in Crete, Greece from Mavrotragano grapes and tastes Dry, Smoky, Elegant, and Complex.
