Idaia Malva

A beautiful, floral, highly aromatic dry white wine produced from Malvasia di Candia grapes south of Heraklion in Crete. Idaia Winery is a family-owned winery that specializes in Cretan grape varieties. The Malvasia used for this wine is the variant that has been used in Crete for centuries and is named Malvasia di Canada after the old Roman name for the island. It has aromas of white fruits, white flowers, lemon zest and fine herbs and leaves a slightly spicy, fruity aftertaste.
