Feb. 19 – Sake tasting – A discovery tour of Japanese wine

For our February tasting -- on the 19th of February -- we invite you to discover the vast world of Japanese wine.

We'll taste eight good sakes, including pasteurized and unpasteurized, basic and premium, and see how different degrees of rice polishing and different yeasts produce a spectrum of sake that is almost as varied as that of wine. If all of that sounds alien to you -- come to the tasting and learn more! (Please note that the alcohol content of saké is about the same as wine, usually around 15%.) 

All the wines will be paired with good food, including options for vegetarians and others with dietary restrictions. There is always plenty of time for conversation between sips.  

The price includes the sake tasting, dinner and water and will take place at the Comptoir Rodin, Ave. Auguste Rodin 8, B-1050 Ixelles. It will start at 7:30 p.m.
