Tsiakkas Commandaria 2019

A sweet wine from Tsiakkas Winery in Cyprus, this delicacy is made from 100% local Xynisteri grapes. The name Commandaria comes from the single vineyard in which the grapes were planted. The grapes are sun-dried in ancestral tradition before fermentation and three years of aging in French and American oak barrels. The result is a complex, fine wine with notes of bergamot, quince, honey and fig. It pairs well with blue, mature and hard cheeses, dark chocolate, nuts, and citrus fruit.
